To make the most of their commercial premises, our client wanted a mezzanine floor installation to create additional storage space.

 

Shannon Outboard Motors is a marine mechanic. Due to business growth, they were looking to renovate their office space to make better use of the space available.

 

North Shore Creative Constructions worked with Shannon Outboard Motors to create a layout of the office renovation.

Utilising the existing office layout, we were able to creatively come up with a solution that would allow easy access to the Mezzanine Floor while keeping the office staff comfortable.

 

Taking advantage of the existing stairwell to the office, we were able to install a new steel staircase with landing and cut through an existing concrete wall to create a doorway directly onto the Mezzanine Floor Installation we had undertaken.

 

Adjacent to the mezzanine we renovated Shannon’s office. We removed the existing grid suspended ceiling. Then re-framed the ceiling at a high level and fixed new gyprock to both the ceilings and walls. These measures helped to make the space larger and insulated for better comfort throughout the year.
